Research, including a critical review recently published in the American Psychological Association's (APA) Journal Review of General Psychology has found that EFT "consistently demonstrated strong effect sizes and other positive statistical results that far exceed chance after relatively few treatment sessions."

To recap, using 2-4 fingers (depending on location), you will tap key locations on your body, 10-15 times strongly and rapidly. You can tap on both sides or on just one. These locations, in order, are:

  1. The top of your eyebrow
  2. The side of the eye on the bone
  3. Underneath the eye (This helps with bags, too!)
  4. Under nose, above lips
  5. Below the lip on the chin bone
  6. On your collarbone
  7. Under the arm to the side, where your bra strap is
  8. The top of the head (for this, do a circle of taps so you tap the critical nerve endings).
